WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP UPDATE

Only two days into the competition, and our GBR athletes are already making their mark!
Clare Elms kicked things off in style on Day 1, securing individual and team golds in the cross country.
Yesterday’s track finals saw a dominant GBR performance in the 800m, with an incredible haul of seven gold medals in an exhilarating afternoon of athletics! Sarah Roberts, Zoe Doyle, and Ellie Stevens stormed to victory in the women’s races, while David Clarke, Mark Symes, Kojo Kyereme, and Keith Hutchinson claimed gold in the men’s events.
In the field events, Suzanna Wise stood atop the podium after an outstanding performance in the weight throw.
Meanwhile, our athletes continued to rack up silver and bronze medals in the cross country, throws, and track events.
With a strong contingent through to today’s sprint finals, there’s plenty more excitement to come.
