Canioage 95 years, broke his own Canadian M95-99 road race best time with 42:10 minutes in the 5 km Jordan’s Run the Runway in London, ON on September 20th. Canio lives in London, ON and self-coached but advised by Sherry Watts.
Honorable Mention
Congratulations to Elizabeth Waywell and Laurelee Nelson for being selected for Honorable Mention for September, 2024!
On September 8th, Elizabeth Waywellage 66, raced to a new Canadian W65-69 road race best in the 10 km Toronto Island Run, posting a time of 42:16 minutes, just seconds slower that the world best for 2024. Elizabeth resides in Guelph, Ontario and is coached by John Marsden.
Lauralee Nelsonage 70, set a new Canadian W70-74 one mile best time of 7:30 minutes in Kelowna’s Fast Days of Summer One Mile on September 1st Lauralee is a resident of Kelowna, BC and gets advice from a sister and friends in her club.
