It is not long until the main track and field championships take place at Moorways, Derby. The event 12thto 14thSeptember has an entry closing date of 1stSeptember.

So perhaps you are undecided as to whether to enter. Here are some reasons for signing up:
- A new warm up track at the rear of the main track has been laid. This makes warming up so much better;
- Lots of hotels nearby to make a weekend of competing and meeting up with new and old friends;
- Last major competition before heading out to Europeans – so ideal way to test where you are with your training;
- A friendly and fun atmosphere supported by top officials
Some Friday Events
With growing numbers, we have had to move some of the events onto Friday. However, we have tried to ensure that no athlete needs to be on site for more than two days to compete.
