World Masters Athletics (WMA) is pleased to announce that the Zagreb Marathon has been selected to host the 2026 World Masters Athletics Marathon Championship. With an experienced organizing team and a strong tradition in distance running, Zagreb is well prepared to deliver a memorable World Championship experience for Masters athletes.
The 2026 World Masters Athletics Marathon Championship will be held in conjunction with the Zagreb Marathon, offering competitors a well-organized event on a course that highlights the beauty and character of Croatia’s capital city.
