British Masters 5 km Road Championships

This event is for masters’ athletes (anyone over the age of 35) who wish to compete in the British Masters 5 km Road Championships at Battersea Park, London SW11 4NJ (Race HQ at the Bandstand).
A current UKA registration is required. Please enter your area club as your team code or use your first claim club code if you are registered with BMAF but you are not a current area club member. Overseas visitors without a UKA registration should enter their national team code.
Entry fees: BMAF Area Club members
Closing Date: Thursday 20 November or earlier if full.
Entry Limit: 500
Chip timing. There will be two races to prevent congestion and to allow more entrants.
Provisional timetable:
Race One, 10:45am. For Men aged 35 to 64 (M35 – M60 age groups, inclusive)
Race Two, 11:30am. For all Women and Men aged 65 and over (W35 – W100+ and M65+)
The 5k course is traffic-free on a flat circular tarmac course. Battersea Park is the perfect venue for a fast road race with all the infrastructure in place.

Changing/showers at the Millennium Arena Stadium. A charge is made for the use of these facilities, but the BMAF has agreed to pay for each race entrant who uses the facilities. TELL THE RECEPTIONIST YOUR NAME AND RACE NUMBER, and you will not be charged. Please come ready to race if possible.
Refreshments and Medal presentation at the Pear Tree cafe (shown on the Course Map).
MEDALS will be awarded to the first three finishers in each five-year age category from 35 to 100+. Entries from UKA clubs are welcome; TEAM composition by UKA Club; 1st claim members; three to score; medals to first 3 women’s/men’s teams 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, etc, if at least two teams finish. Declaration of teams is not necessary.
