[25.06.2025] Nominierung EYOF – 28 Leichtathletik-Talente im DOSB-Aufgebot für Skopje

This week, the DOSB nominated a large part of the German team for the Eyof in Skopje at the end of July. Among the 86 talents there are 28 young talents: inside.

From July 20th to 26th, Europe’s best young athletes will meet: Inside the 18th edition of the European Youth Olympic Festival (Eyof) in Skopje (Northern Macedonia). This week, the German Olympic Sports Association (DOSB) named the first 86 athletes: Inside for the Germany team. In the DOSB athletics contingent, the DOSB calls for 28 Athlete: Inside the U18 vintages 2008 and 2009.

Among other things, the owner of the German U18 best performance over 100 meters hurdles Daryl Ndasi (LG Stadtwerke Munich), 400-meter hurdle runner Lynn Pöppelmann (TuS Köln Rrh.), Celprician Antonia Heberle (TV Rottenburg) and Dreifinger Joel Yamah (SCC Berlin) last year at the U18 European Championship in Banská Bystrica (Slovakia) already gained international experience. Discus thrower Matti Sosna (TSG Bergedorf) and heptathlon Svea Funck (TV Jahn Walsrode) are also promising in the European annual lists.

“I am very pleased that we were able to occupy all 28 starting places available,” says DLV boss national trainer youngsters U18 Elke Bartschat. “Our young athletes have the chance at Eyof to sniff international competition air in the group of the national team and also take a look outside the box in the area. This is an important learning experience for the talent.”
