One more chance. There is only one event left in Athletics Canada’s 2024 Canadian Championship Series.

The 2024 Canadian Cross Country Championships, running this November 30 and December 1 in London, Ontario, will attract more than 1,300 athletes (from U16 to Masters), as well as hundreds of coaches and officials, showcasing the very best of Canada’s elite runners who will compete for the title of national champion.

Athletics Canada has partnered with Tourism London, the London Western Track & Field Club and the City of London to host the event for a period of two years at the Fanshawe Golf Course. Athletes will vie for national titles in U16, U18, U20, and Senior national championship races, along with the Canadian Masters Association national championships, a Community race and a 1K Kids race.

“Hosting sport events like the 2024 Canadian Cross Country Championships provides our athletes with the opportunity to compete against top-tier talent, right here in Ontario,” said Neil Lumsden, Minister of Sport. “Our government’s investments through the Sport Hosting Program help bring world-class competitions to our province, boosting the economy, supporting sport tourism, and reinforcing Ontario’s reputation as a premier destination for sporting events. I wish all athletes, coaches, officials, event organizers, volunteers and spectators a successful event.”

“The City of London has a rich history in athletics,” said Athletics Canada CEO Mathieu Gentès. “With an exciting weekend of racing, and new innovative fan experiences at the Fanshawe Golf Course, the 2024 Canadian Cross Country Championships are the place to be, this weekend.”
