Alita Dommann56, conquered nasty weather conditions to race to the fastest age graded time of all Masters competitors in the CMA Cross-country Championships on November 31 in London, ON.Alita resides in North Vancouver and is coached by Kevin O’Connor.
Paul Gautier60, broke two Canadian records in the throws on November 23rd at the Red and Black Open in Saint John, NB. He threw the Weight 17.85m and the Shot 14.09m, throws that ranked third and fourth, respectively, in the world indoors in 2024. Paul lives in Rothsay, NB and is self-coached.

Honorable Mentions are awarded to Kyle Boorsma and the CMA Ga Winning Team from Ontario.
Kyle Boorsma36, set a new Canadian record in the 5k distance with his 14:36 minutes on November 2nd in the Hamilton Marathon Elite 5K, in Hamiton, ON. Kyle lives in Guelph, ON and is self-coached.
Competition for the Gaat trophy was fierce at the CMA Cross-country Championships on November 30. This trophy is awarded to the provincial team, consisting of both male and female members, with the highest four age-graded scores. Ontario edged out British Columbia this time! Congratulations to the Ontario team of Tim Hewson, Clara Northcott, Simon Rayner and Kim Russell Brooks.
