Congratulations to Kevin Smith and Jean-Marc Theriault for being selected as CMA’s Athletes of the Month (AOTM) for October, 2024!

Kevin Smith55, raced to a speedy new Canadian M55 best time of 1:15:46 in the half marathon on October 20th at the Toronto Waterfront Marathon. This time placed 5th fastest in the 2024 World Masters Rankings. Kevin lives in Mississauga, ON and is self coached.
Jean-Marc Theriault51, also on October 20th, completed the 10k race in the demi-marathon Sunlife de Longueuil, QC, in a quick 32:49, which is a Canadian M50 best time. Jean-Marc lives in Saguenay, QC and is self-coached.

Congratulations to Dmitry Babenko and Elizabeth Waywell for their selections as Honorable Mentions for October, 2024!
Elizabeth Waywellage 66, won her W65-69 division of the Chicago Marathon, one of the 7 Abbott World Marathon Majors, on October 13. Her time was a very fast 3:15:30. Elizabeth resides in Guelph, ON and is coached by John Marsden.
Dmitry Babenko51, completed the 35k race in the Lusatian International Race-Walking Meeting in Weinauparkstadion,Zittau, Germany.His time of 3:00:33 is both a new Canadian record and ranked first in the world for M50 in 2024. Dmitry lives in Brooklyn, NY, USA and is self-coached.
