Commentary throughout the day

BOB LEWIS was a great supporter of athletes and athletics at all levels as well as being a great runner himself.  He was European Masters Games Champion over 400m.  He is remembered by many in the sport and we are honoured that his family are happy for his name to be associated with this event in memory of all he did for the sport.

In his honour there will be a prize of a lemon drizzle cake (his favourite) for the best age graded 400m performance by a Masters athlete.

Please note that entries are online only and no entries will be allowed on the day, no refunds will be given on entries.  Entries close at 23.59 on the 28th August. The timetable is subject to change based on the number of entries.

The meeting will be held under WMA/UKA rules.

Your Training & Nutrition Starting Point

A solid foundation to build from

Based on your answers, here's the shape of a basic program to get you moving in the right direction.

Training
2 quality sessions — technique and intensity work for your event
1–2 recovery sessions — easy movement, mobility, and rest
1 strength session — masters-specific conditioning
Nutrition
Session-day fuelling — eat with your training load, not against it
Recovery basics — hydration, protein timing, and sleep habits

This is just the outline. The full program — personalised to everything you told us, with session-by-session training, nutrition guidance, and coaching support — lives inside the app.
