A Powerful and Inspiring Finale
After a spectacular opening ceremony and three thrilling days of competition, the European Masters Off Road Running Championship Nicolosi 2025 came to a close—just hours before Mount Etna erupted once again, almost as if the volcano itself chose to salute the event.
The unique landscape of this part of Sicily, combined with the outstanding efforts of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), tireless volunteers, dedicated judges and,of course,enthusiastic athletes, created an unforgettable edition of the EMORRC.
During the final day’s award ceremony, the symbolic flag handover took place. The EMA flag was passed from the Nicolosi LOC to EMA—represented by Vice President of Competition Giovanni Tracanelli and General Secretary Clarisse Duarte—and then to Iulia Drăguțu, President of the Rasnov 2026 LOC (Romania).
Next year, from September 10 to 13, the European Masters will bring their passion and energy to Transylvania—running through the legendary, haunted mountains of Dracula!
Until that time EMA and different Organiserswill offer the opportunity to run around Europe with the Off Road running Circuit stages.
